One Step Forward, One Step Back
When we took Jason's helmet off Tues. morning, we were surprised to see how fast his head shape had changed. Unfortunately, he had also developed a heat rash, so we were instructed to keep the helmet off until the redness goes away. Twenty four hours later, it still is red. And his head has gone back to pre-helmet shape. We're back to where we started. Hopefully we can at least learn how to keep him even cooler in the future.

Isn't that how it always works? Frustrating. Good luck with it now. At least you know he'll make progress with it on right?
I'm sorry!! that is such a bummer! Poor little guy. Well, hopefully it will keep working! With his sensitive skin do you think it could be a while before the rash goes away?
Poor guy! My cousin's son had to wear a helmet, too. His head was lop-sided because he only ever turned his head one way when he slept. I'm glad it doesn't seem to bother Jason too much!
